Human Values For Happiness

Valueless life is like a rudderless ship.
It has neither goal nor direction.
Life without values is meaningless and miserable. Show me on human being who is leading a happy life without values! He may be rolling in riches, drenched in luxuries, enveloper in power and engulfed in material pleasure, but he cannot enjoy the mental and spiritual happiness.
Life-Values=Hell and Life+Values=Haven. Values give meaning and goal to life. Values are integral part of life. Life devoid of valuse is shallow and supine.
Truth is the basic value of life. Truth may temporarily plunge in to problems, but in the long run it is truth that triumphs. Sathyame:va jayathe:! Truth is a shield that protects us from all onslaughts. It is truthful people that flourish in life. They are the winners in life. They command respect at home and in the society. No wife love the husband who tells lies. No son gives respect to his father who is not truthful. No employer relies on an employee who lies. Truth and respect go together. Truth and love co-exist. Truth and reliability are in separable. It is truth people that are respected and remembered in the society. Truth is often eclipsed, but never extinguished. Liars die while living and truthful people live after death also.
Dharma or righteousness is the purpose of life. Dharma binds people and adharma or unrighteousness divides people. Dharma brings peace and happiness. Have you ever come across a person who practices adharma or unrighteousness and yet happy? Even if he is happy, its temperory. Dharma is not only a personal value but also a social value. It keeps the society happy and peaceful. Dharma builds happy families and peaceful societies. Do you image Nepal or bhutan to become a great nation? Its' simple! let everyone do his duties punctually and be righteousness in his own. Overnight those countries becomes a wounderful countries with no hunger, disease and ignorance.
Peace is the software of life. It guides and performs. Internal peace keep the body and mind happy. External peace builds good human relations. Peace starts with you! if you are peaceful, your family is peaceful, your working place is peaceful and ultimately the world is peaceful. Love is the essense of life. If there is no love, there is no life. Mother's love make to grow. Teacher's love makes you to learn and God's love make you to live happily. Love unites people and hatred separates people. Love your life; you will lead a happy life. You love your work; you will enjoy it. Love your country it will start growing.
Sacrifice is the beauty of life. Its absense make life miserable. In nature everything sacrifices. Trees sacrifice their fruits; cows sacrifice their milk and river sacrifice their water. Mother sacrifices her life, time and energy to bring up the child, Father sacrifices his wealth to educate the child. Guru sacrifices his time for enlightening the disciple. God give and forgives; Man gets and forgets.
Non-voilence is the strength and violence is the weakness. Voilent people are ferocious outwardly and fearful inwardly. Non- violent people may look mild. But. they are bold inside. Violence shatters personal life, family life and social life. non- violence brings peace everywhere.
Obedience is the trait of leaders and arrogance is the trait of slaves.
You learn to obey; you automatically learn to lead. Obedience is the wealth of a person. One can live anywhere in the world if he is obedient. Success, money, status, happiness and peace are the biproducts of obedience. Courage is the curse of life. Fear is the curse of life. Courage emanates from truth and righteousness. One must have courage to tell the truth, practice dharnma/righteousness and fight againts adharma. Character is a comprehensive trait. Its a package. It is a combination of many virtues. people with character only are respected in the world. Education, money, power, influence.....everything becomes futile if character is missing.
Values may sound dogmatic; but they are real and they alone are real.
